WHY YOU NEED TO ADVOCATE FOR YOUR HEALTH, with Jill Bucaro

November 19 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Most of us will have to experience the healthcare system at some point in our lives. Whether it’s us or a loved one, a quick doctor visit or a long hospital stay, prescription medication or a serious treatment, it can leave us overwhelmed, unsure and anxious. Regardless of the specific situation, there are steps you can take to feel empowered and in control of your own health. These steps are easy to learn, yet effective in moving towards optimal health. You don’t have to be a doctor or a pharmacist and you don’t need to know complicated medical terminology.

This class is perfect for people who:

  • Don’t know what questions to ask their healthcare practitioner
  • Have been told “there’s nothing wrong with you”
  • Are taking medications
  • Wish doctor appointments provided adequate time to address important issues
  • Are prepping for or recovering from surgery or medical procedure
  • Have a loved one in the hospital
