September 29, 2019 @ 2:00 pm - 3:30 pm
ONIGIRI (rice-balls), the healthy Japanese fast-food
Onigiri, also known as omusubi, is the Japanese rice ball. It is one of the simplest yet most beloved of Japanese foods. Quick and easy to make, onigiri keeps well and is portable– great for school lunches! It is the perfect food for a quick bite between meals, or can be combined with soup and other items for a simple and filling meal. There’s a wide variety on the types & fillings– we will take you through the basic steps, and you will have a chance to make your own!
A satisfying cup of nutrient-dense Miso Soup will accompany your freshly-made Onigiri!
We will learn about the many benefits of including a conscious cup of this healing soup as part of your foundational foods for health!
