Einkorn Sourdough Bread-making, with the Moonlight Bakers
July 7 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
Einkorn is the ORIGINAL wheat. It has been cultivated for over 5,000 years, and has not been hybridized. (A recent discovery of ancient utensils show traces of Einkorn dating back 20,000 years!) It is lower in gluten and has a lower glycemic profile than modern wheat.
Come join Suzanne Rosen and Harry Nickelson, the Moonlight Bakers, and learn all about making real sourdough bread using this ancient grain. You will mix bread using a traditional sourdough starter. You will have the opportunity to sample a delicious, fresh-baked loaf. You will also discover other uses for surplus starter and go home with your own sourdough Einkorn starter!
General Tuition: $95
