Breathing and Bracing:The Gateway to Your Core, Movement & Fitness, with Nathan Maffin
June 13 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm
Movement is inspiring. Our bodies were born to move, to heal, to breathe well and to be fit. These are aspects of daily life we’re meant to craft and call our own. Many of us experience limitations in some or all of these areas and are dealing with chronic pain, stiffness and stress. If you’re digging for potential in any of these areas, you’re not alone. Even advanced movers and athletes in every discipline are challenged by how to increase their daily functional performance in some way.
Wouldn’t it be helpful to be able to assess and treat some limitations yourself? To free up movement, move out of chronic pain and breathe easier? Come join movement coach and trainer, Nathan Maffin, for an evening devoted to self-assessment, exploring breathing and bracing techniques for the core, and mobilizing and activating the hips and back. While it can be challenging to face pain and movement restrictions, I encourage you to come with a positive and open mind as you enjoy finding your own limitations and begin extending beyond them. Some of our work will be on the floor. You are welcome to bring a mat.
Open to all levels of experience.

A message from Nathan:
I will provide an overview for those who were unable to attend the last class. For those I had the pleasure of working with already, we will build upon the ideas and practice we did together as well.
